And it works as a distraction since I'm not feeling great and could not for the life of me figure out what book to start next or concentrate on any of the books I tried. Nice artwork though (it seemed better this time even), I will not argue with that.
I'm not quite seeing what everyone else seems to see in this series. But it was still pretty much just about sex and an abusive sociopath. And I liked the scene after the sex when they kind of had a moment and started laughing together. 1! There was still sex though, albeit much more consensual (not dubcon) this time. I also started to feel something forming between Cain and Abel, beyond just fucking, when they had a moment of laughter together. Especially Deimos, being all sneaky, giving info to Cain, pulling a knife on someone who groped him, clearly wanting Cain but also being afraid of him. I liked getting to see some other characters (Praxis and Deimos), who also seemed interesting and unique. I'm definitely getting more into the story again.
